Dr. Fetterman’s studio consists of students of all ages, from 5 years to adults,
and all abilities, including beginners to advanced students.
The normal studio schedule follows the school year and runs from September through
May. However, students can begin lessons at any time!
Dr. Janet Fetterman is an accomplished solo, duo and duet pianist and has been teaching
students of all ages and abilities for over 30 years. Dr. Fetterman still performs
every week as a church musician, and continues to perform solo and duo music as her
schedule allows. Her diverse interests, background, and style have allowed her to
understand and teach a wide range of music, including classical, jazz, and popular
music among others.

Dr. Fetterman received her Doctorate of Musical Arts (DMA) from the University of
Missouri - Kansas City under the tutelage of Richard Cass. Her musical lineage can
be traced back to Chopin and Beethoven.
